Connection Type

One-way sync between Umbrella Faces and Sabre for Corporate (Company) and Traveller profiles only

Obtaining credentials

Client will need to request a set of Sabre Web Service credentials via their Sabre Account Director

When requesting, please advise full Sabre travel agency name and PCC(s), with the travel agency primary contact name, title, email address, phone number.  (The standard SWS Downline setup is to create a new iPCC. If the agency prefers to use an existing PCC for the Sabre Web Services (SWS) access this must be noted on the SWS Downline order which is completed by the Sabre Agency Account Team). Sabre will notify the Sabre Agency Account Team so they can proceed with the addendum signature and IPCC order placement. Sabre Agency Account Team will notify agency of the activation timeline and implementation date once the order is placed. To Activate PCC XXXX as a downline iPCC, Agency has to sign an addendum for the activation with Sabre. This will include a one-time set up fee cost.

Once obtained please forward credentials to faces-support@umbrella.ch and cc in your implementation manager

Credential settings

If the Agency has credit card numbers they wish to import from the GDS, then the EPR must have the keyword CCVIEW applied.

Company settings

In the Interface Setup section of the Umbrella Faces company profile, check the box for Sabre.

If publishing to a different PCC, enter the alternate PCC in the IPCC field. Please ensure Branch Access has been opened within the Sabre Travel Journal Record (TJR) to the new PCC

Importing profiles into Umbrella Faces

When first connecting a company it is possible to import either using the Umbrella Faces Read from Profile (GDS) option within the Profile Centre or via CSV import.
